The election for selectmen will be held March 6 at the town offce 8 am to 8 pm.
The town meeting is March 10 starting at 9 am
Please vote and attend the town meeting.

New Administrator
I really didn't mind disclosing that I am helping out with the blog. Its pretty cut and dried, you read the posts if its of benefit to the town we post it, if its not its being deleted.

Blog administrative changes
Until further notice all comments will be posted only after review of the administrator.
The reason for this is to maintain a level of dialog that is useful to moving Newburgh forward with suggestions, ideas and critique from townspeople. I have recently met with a number of townspeople. Their suggestions included: taking the blog down, not allowing people to post anonymously and censuring all posts until they are reviewed by the administrator. Not one suggested leaving it the way it is now.
Therefore this is the action selected for now.
The purpose of the blog was never as gossip media where people slam other people, unfortuantely it has deteriorated to this point.
